Crazy Colour - Back to Base Colour Remover 45g

Crazy Color Back To Base Colour Remover 45g is designed to remove unwanted direct and semi-permanent colour from hair that has previously been pre-lightened.

The aim is to take the hair back towards its original pre-lightened blonde base, making it useful when changing vivid shades, removing faded colour or preparing for a new creative colour direction.

Once the unwanted colour has been removed and the hair is suitable for recolouring, choose your next shade from the Crazy Color Semi-Permanent Hair Dye range.

1. Work in a well-ventilated area.
2. Wear suitable gloves before mixing or applying.
3. Protect clothing with disposable shoulder capes or another suitable protective covering.
4. Place the complete 45g sachet into a non-metallic mixing bowl.
5. Add 5, 10 or 20 Vol developer according to hair condition.
6. Mix at a 1:2 ratio until a smooth paste forms.
7. Section dry hair into manageable sections.
8. Apply only to areas that have previously been pre-lightened and treated with direct or semi-permanent colour.
9. Process at room temperature for up to 30 minutes.
10. Check the hair approximately every 5 minutes until the desired removal has been achieved.
11. Rinse thoroughly, then shampoo and condition.

Back To Base requires developer and is mixed at a ratio of 1 part remover to 2 parts developer.

Current product directions allow the use of 5, 10 or 20 Vol developer, with the strength selected according to the condition of the hair.

Some colour families can be more persistent than others. Crazy Color specifically notes that strong blues and greens can sometimes require a longer colour-correction journey rather than disappearing completely in a single session.
